Niall Conway - Spatial Data | Planning | Sustainability Consultant

I was first introduced to spatial data while working on large infrastructure and energy projects in Queensland, Australia, in 2010, where I created thematic outputs for project managers, planners, and engineers. This work prioritised the clear and accurate communication of complex information.

Since then, I’ve been involved in various consultancy and research projects where spatial data was used to enhance communication strategies, support stakeholder engagement, and de-risk project delivery. Through this work, I have developed a range of technical skills as well as in-depth understanding of planning, sustainability and stakeholder engagement techniques.

I’m convinced that a spatial data-led approach is our best chance of solving complex geographic challenges and achieving our sustainability goals.

Experience I have gained includes working with organisations such as KPMG Ireland, Origin Energy, Santos, and Cork County Council. Through Spatial Outlook, I have also managed a publicly-funded decarbonisation R&D project involving multiple public, research, and business partners across Europe.
